After studying and testing existing systems that allow women to urinate standing up, we decided to improve and create the ideal stand-up urinator, the marinette®, truly designed with women's needs in mind.
But before we get started, because the investment is significant, we decided to conduct market research to understand women's expectations!
First of all, 628 of you responded, which is fantastic!
To cut a long story short:
- 28% of women have never heard of any device for standing up urinating! That doesn't surprise me; a few months ago, I myself had no idea about this little device for standing up!
- 64% have vaguely heard of standing urinating, without having had the opportunity to try it, and are curious to know if it's practical...
- Finally, it's worth noting that 3 out of 628 women can urinate standing up (2 since childhood because their mothers taught them how to urinate, and they have a physical predisposition that allows them to urinate with a stream in front! The lucky ones!)
- Since 54% of respondents are interested in the subject and want to know more, I decided to take the plunge, along with Isabelle, a naturopath, to share with other women what has transformed our lives as active women!
We are currently finalizing the marinette® prototypes and are about to start manufacturing. Yes, yes, WE'RE GOING FOR IT !!!
